bcdl (github) | Golang, Bandcamp API, Git

  • Developed a command line application using Golang to allow users of Bandcamp.com to download music they have bought en masse and any other freely available music
  • Reverse engineered public APIs for authorizing user access
  • Published the software to Github where it has received 48 stars and over 800 downloads
  • The software is actively used by members of the media archival community who contribute to with project with issues and feature requests

  • Led a team to develop an application that identifies CD album covers using a trained YOLO model and retrieves album details from an online database
  • Collected and annotated a custom dataset of CD case images, achieving mAP50=98.4% and mAP50-95=88.2% accuracy in object segmentation
  • Integrated computer vision technologies (OpenCV, YOLO) to automate cataloging tasks
  • Designed and implemented the backend using TensorFlow and Python to handle image processing and API communication
